Writing a bio about myself is proving to be a lot harder then I thought it would be. So I’ll just give you the basics. I am a seventeen year old girl that loves music and loves Jesus. I’ve been surrounded by music my entire life. I started singing before I could talk and since then my passion for music has steadily grown.
I started writing “poems” in middle
Olivia Kaiser school, and I decided I wanted to learn guitar so I could put them to music. So a friend of mine gave me guitar lessons for a few months back in 2005, and I started out writing original stuff. I went on a mission’s trip to Mexico in 2006, and from that trip I got the position of worship leader at my previous youth group. Through out the time I was there, I experienced worship on an entire new level and what worship really was inside and out. It became my “love”. Music was no longer just something I liked to do; it became my input to finding Jesus through every situation and circumstance. After a year of that, I did a fill in for LHC one Sunday in July, and since that Sunday I’ve found LHC to be my home.
Worship is such a beautiful thing. It goes way beyond music and singing. You don’t have to be gifted in music to worship, and it’s the one steady thing in my life that has never failed to remind me of Fathers love. It’s my desire to lead people into the presence of God by using my strengths, weaknesses, and gifts. I’ve never found anything else in my entire life that has been as satisfying as getting lost inside God’s presence through worship.
It’s my prayer you find the same joy as I have through worship.
